When it comes to gift giving, time can be our worst enemy. SUDDENLY the event for the gift giving has arrived and that perfect gift, well you want to give something unique, but how and from where is not yet thought about.
Of course we know that the perfect gift is a custom caricature from one of the talented artists at Caricature King.
But as some people discover, it is not always possible to get a caricature in 24-48 hours. Apart from existing workloads, it also takes time to create perfection.
So what to do…..?
An increasing number of people are finding the solution to last minute gift ideas is to give a Caricature Gift Certificate instead.
Easily delivered via email within 24 hours, all you have to do is print it out and hand it over!

The certificate can be for any amount that corresponds to caricature product prices, so if you want to give “2 full bodies in scene, then you can, and the recipient of the gift certificate can then choose which artist they like best!!

This client wanted to have the caricature look like it was a clipping from an old wild west newspaper.
The ‘victim’ is a school teacher who held old fashioned values, and many students (and I suppose some staff) probably thought his attitudes were old - like circa 1880, so the decision was made to play on this.
The result, I think you will agree is pretty special. This is a full body with background in BW, plus a slight premium for that amazing detailing.

Here is just a quick bit of feedback from a client - the job spec for this full body with props job was to use the picture of the ‘victim’ running (he his also a competitive runner) but to have him holding a laptop - he is always running between meetings and always has his laptop and his favorite soda drink with him.
Matt (and George)!Thank you so much for this - It looks great and I really appreciate you being able to accommodate my request on such short notice.
I have been passing the word on about your site!
Thank you so much! ~ Kristen
Not only was it a quick turnaround, but at the last minute it was decided to color the image.

Here is a great shot of Dale and Dorothy with their caricature drawn by artist Zalo that was given to them by their daughter as a signature board.

As you can see she had it printed on a large sheet of heavy paper that people at the retirement even could sign.
These sign-in boards and gifts that can be signed are very popular. We have just made some special arrangements with our US framer to be able to supply a print and frame package that allows the glass to be easily removed thus allowing guests and colleagues to be able to sign on the matting. After the event the glass is simply placed back into the frame for a lasting gift.
If you would like to create a signature board gift, feel free to browse our artists and then contact me with any questions.

Retirement gifts are often hard to choose but a really great retirement gift is a caricature. You cannot go wrong!
Everyone loves getting a caricature. It might be because they get a buzz from seeing how an artist interprets their look, or it could be that they just love the novelty of it.
Here is one drawn by Shane that was ordered as a framed package:

As you can see, there are some specific elements that have been included, such as the big bowl of candy and the messy desk.
