Some big changes at Caricature King

The early part of 2024 has seen some big changes at Caricature King.

Artist Eddie on extended sick leave

As many will be aware, Eddie suffered a stroke in April 2023. Being the strong-willed guy he is, he re-trained  is right hand and after 4 months was back with us completing orders.

A few weeks ago his right arm started to give him trouble again and after investigations, almost exactly one year after his stroke he was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

This brain tumor was successfully removed last week and Eddie is recuperating at home. The bad news is early tests show it was an aggressive malignant tumor. As a result, Eddie is facing months of radiation and chemotherapy as part of his fight against any residual cells.

Of course this means Eddie is not able to work for many months and will not have an income.

We ask that you donate to his GoFundMe campaign to help pay medical and living costs. Please also read the updates.

Two artists have departed

Artists Keimo and Luis have left the team to persue other interests.

Keimo is working in gaming development after 7 years on the team,

After over a decade with Caricature King, Luis has shifted his focus full-time to starting his own realtor company.

We thank them for their service and I know some regular clients will miss their style.
