This client wanted to have the caricature look like it was a clipping from an old wild west newspaper.
The ‘victim’ is a school teacher who held old fashioned values, and many students (and I suppose some staff) probably thought his attitudes were old – like circa 1880, so the decision was made to play on this.
The result, I think you will agree is pretty special. This is a full body with background in BW, plus a slight premium for that amazing detailing.

Recognizing the efforts of employees is something that successful businesses take the time and effort to do.
For many Employers, the challenge of finding something a bit different to recognise staff can be a bit of a challenge.
Caricature King works with several companies and educational institutions to provide an employee recognition caricature each month.
These prove very popular with all staff, not only those who receive the caricature, but their colleagues as well.
Call them “Employee of the Month”, or “Champion of the Month” – if you are looking for a way to recognise employees, a caricature is a great way to do it.

The feedback from this client says it all….
Matt,
The reaction we got from the employees was great. Each one has enjoyed their caricature. I especially like the detail that is put in to include aspects of their work and personal life. My favorite so far is the one created for Dot in March!
Lots of laughs all around. Good fun!

Here is just a quick bit of feedback from a client – the job spec for this full body with props job was to use the picture of the ‘victim’ running (he his also a competitive runner) but to have him holding a laptop – he is always running between meetings and always has his laptop and his favorite soda drink with him.
Matt (and George)!Thank you so much for this – It looks great and I really appreciate you being able to accommodate my request on such short notice.
I have been passing the word on about your site!
Thank you so much! ~ Kristen
Not only was it a quick turnaround, but at the last minute it was decided to color the image.

Here is a great shot of Dale and Dorothy with their caricature drawn by artist Zalo that was given to them by their daughter as a signature board.

As you can see she had it printed on a large sheet of heavy paper that people at the retirement even could sign.
These sign-in boards and gifts that can be signed are very popular. We have just made some special arrangements with our US framer to be able to supply a print and frame package that allows the glass to be easily removed thus allowing guests and colleagues to be able to sign on the matting. After the event the glass is simply placed back into the frame for a lasting gift.
If you would like to create a signature board gift, feel free to browse our artists and then contact me with any questions.

Here is a chap called Randy who was presented with a caricature as a farewell gift from his organisation.
As you can see he is very happy with his gift (lucky it was not a watch I guess!)
Artist Zalo worked from supplied pictures and this description:
Randy’s passions are golf (if only he didn’t have to work!), & anything to do with the University of Texas & their team, the Longhorns. He is a natural politician, the King of Schmooze, and was actually elected the youngest Justice of the Peace in Texas history (at the time). He is VERY jolly & congenial & well liked by (most) everyone he meets.
At the draft stage this was the response from the client:
Oh, Matt, that is a riot! It is SO him, especially the outstretched hand! SUCH a politician!
And after the final printed and framed caricature was delivered:
Hi, Matt! We had Randy’s roast last Thursday night, & it was a wonderful success. Attached is the picture of the presentation, and one of Randy, the Board President & my boss (who’s also the CEO). He LOVED the caricature, & everyone there said that the artist captured him absolutely. Thanx so much for the awesome picture & fabulous service!!
