As you can see from this image, caricature does not have to be about distortion – it can be more like art capturing a moment in a way not possible with a camera. The original photo of this moment was poor quality, the exposure was bad and small. But by using a couple more photos of each of the subjects, the artist was able to do what a photo could not……
Lovers – she is frozen in the moment, savoring his touch….art by Harry.
Every day is lover’s day…order your lovers art for a lasting memento.

Artist George is our original artist, having been with us since 2005. As you can see from the samples below he has a totally unique style – in the past decade I’ve not seen anyone else’s art style like his.
While the caricature style is leaning towards the realistic, there are subtle aspects that make the style quirky, yet still kind to the subject and so appealing for use as gifts for a wide range of gifting opportunities.
As you can see his output ranges from head and shoulders to full body with props (and backgrounds, though not seen here.

I was going to title this post “Why your Mother was Wrong when she Stopped you Pulling Faces in Family Photos”. Bit long, but I still have the same thing to say…a straight face is a bad and even worse, a Boring face.
A smile is better, but when it comes to the world of humorous art, pulling a funny face for your photo makes a great caricature. What we don’t want are passport or drivers licence style expressions. Keep those for your morgue photos.
Here is a recent example created by Harry, there the client’s staff rose to the occasion and were not only willing but eager to have their photos taken with wacky expressions!!
Sure as this was a caricature of the guys doing the haka meant they were more inclined to pull a face in front of the camera, but having some fun expressions really opens up the opportunity for something truly creative.
Next time you are wanting a fun caricature for a family caricature (oh WOW, couldn’t we have some fun!) retirement, birthday, anniversary, or even wedding invitation (no better time to pull a face) remember, have fun!!

If you are looking for ideas for a wedding invitation, then a caricature can provide a nice way that is not excessively formal, but still can have class.
Here is a (cropped) version of one recently completed by artist Luis.
As you can see there is the sign to include the information.
Any of our artists can create a unique and fun caricature for your wedding invitation, sign-in picture or gift for someone you know who is getting married.

Weddings are great affairs, with the organization in the lead-up to the big day, plus those few hours when you are more famous than anyone else in the world and then the honeymoon.
Of course then it is time to say Thank You! to all those people who attended and provided gifts and helped make your day soooo special.
One great way to pass on your thanks is through a fun caricatured thank-you card like this:
This example was drawn by Zalo. A nice simple style, but of course we have several other artists so you can find a style to suit your tastes. Wording is included.
While we do not handle printing of the cards we do suggest these printers in the USA and Australia.
