Orders open for New Year Caricatures

Christmas is also a time of renewal - people have a chance to pause, if only briefly to think about the future, about reprioritizing aspects of life and business.

It is also a time when we get work related to reimaging of businesses - a new look, a logo or some other form of branding through caricature (or even our logo service).

Many people are getting ready to start their new businesses, be they online or bricks and mortar.

So now is a great time to look at how a caricature can fit into your business. Maybe its time to be looking at employee rewards (after all they are the backbone of any business), or looking at a great leaving gift for those who have decided that they turning over of a new year is also a great time to also turn the page in their lives.

Have a browse of the artists on the site and and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Superfast turnaround - Yes We Can!

I know I am always asking customers and potential customers to give the caricature artists plenty of lead time - but sometimes, things just ‘happen’, like perfect synchronicity….

Like at 10pm my time, I was finishing a few things off when on the live chat someone asked if we could do a black and white caricature based on a description only. It was for t-shirts for a girls soccer team.

As luck would have it, artist Zalo was online, late Friday afternoon his time and a quick question via MSN and yes he could do it.

Give the customer the page to order from and the order was in and in 60 MINUTES the caricature was on the email back to the client (due to time constraints no draft on this occasion).

Sometimes things just happen, but of course longer is always better.

Here is the result. Cute, but angry….

Caricature greeting cards

I don’t know if you are like me and get a pile of mundane cards in the weeks before Christmas.

Apart from the percentage that are identical on the outside (and some even appear to be almost identical on the inside!) most are uninspiring - send….well I guess because that’s what we do at this time of year.

But Greeting cards are a way to renew relationships, with personal acquaintances, relatives and on the commercial angle, business.

What better way to create an impression, to cut through the sea of stack standard cards than to have your own custom cards.

Sound hard? Well its not. Get a caricature created (we size it up and everything and even put on the text you want) and then have it printed using our print partner (they even supply the envelopes).

Easy - all you have to do is write your personal note inside each one and you have created a memorable moment for each and every person who receives one.

How to be well remembered in your office

This was a job drawn by artist Zalo for a fellow who works in a realtor office. He was after Kris Kringle gifts and decided on having caricatures of each of the staff drawn.

Here is his;

Michael’s caricature

I have also put a few of the others into a bit of a montage.

Did he like the work? Even after a WOW email back before Christmas, he kindly took the time to send this email:

Hi Matt,

Happy New Year! I hope you enjoyed your holiday with the family and the Festive Season. Just wanted to let you know our Kris Kringle presents were absolutely fantastic! Everyone loved them.

I had to wrap 17 mugs and 17 A4 prints plus another full set for our company scrap book but it was worth it.

n the morning I made eggnog for everyone, played Kris Kringle (complete with Santa hat) for all the “usual” presents, then sat down and pressed play on my PowerPoint Presentation… Oh my God - people could not stop laughing. I had people randomly chose a number between 1-17 to pick the order, and funnily enough I got 17th. Once I’d made it through everyone, I stopped and then everyone realised I hadn’t shown mine - if there was a laugh-o-meter mine would have broken it!

Later, at the Christmas Party, both bosses (including their wives) said it was the best Christmas present ever - with one boss telling me I was irreplaceable.

So thank you again, to you and Zalo for you fantastic efforts.

Will be in touch again soon for the birthday present we spoke about late last year.

Regards
Michael
