There are some very imaginative caricature customers out there.
Who would have ever thought of putting a caricature into a beer tap as a gift?
Amazingly this idea works really well.
So from a couple of photos and an obliging printer and some creative juices, this retiree has a gift that will bring pleasure - and not just because of the beer - for many years!
And the message from the customer:
“Here are the pictures that I promised of the finished tapper. I hope you can use them. Thanks again for the great work and turnaround time. I will definitely use your services again in the future and pass along recommendations.”

I wrote recently on our other blog that giving a caricature as a gift can make you a hero in your workplace - everyone will think how clever you are and the recipient will really appreciate the thought.
So here is a caricature with a different story.
Rhonda Lou was doing a tour of company locations to roll out a new training program called “Respect”. (Top marks for the company for doing the training program!!).
To mark her involvement, her boss thought it would be a fun idea to have a special T-shirt printed with her caricature image on it - a sort of a pun on a rock tour.
As you can see the result drawn by artist George is quite fun and the customer liked it as well “Absolutely outstanding! This is going to be a big hit! Thanks much for taking care of this on such a short time frame. We really appreciate it and will think of you next time!”

Have a look at this great caricature by artist Roy. It shows just how much can be said in a caricature image - truly a picture says a thousand words. The subject of this caricature was an ideas man (like me!) with lots of great business ideas.

The aspect I would like to highlight here is that even a seemingly conservative image, even in black and white can convey huge amounts to the viewer. This caricature was supplied framed.
Comments are always welcome

This job was for a lady who wanted to recognise her boss’s election to Parish President. What a great way of congratulating him!

The caricature is more than I expected. I am very pleased and will recommend Rick to everyone. Looking forward to seeing the finished product; I will surely be ordering again.
This work was completed by artist Rick and was ordered as a printed and framed final.

This was a job drawn by artist Zalo for a fellow who works in a realtor office. He was after Kris Kringle gifts and decided on having caricatures of each of the staff drawn.
Here is his;

I have also put a few of the others into a bit of a montage.

Did he like the work? Even after a WOW email back before Christmas, he kindly took the time to send this email:
Hi Matt,
Happy New Year! I hope you enjoyed your holiday with the family and the Festive Season. Just wanted to let you know our Kris Kringle presents were absolutely fantastic! Everyone loved them.
I had to wrap 17 mugs and 17 A4 prints plus another full set for our company scrap book but it was worth it.
n the morning I made eggnog for everyone, played Kris Kringle (complete with Santa hat) for all the “usual” presents, then sat down and pressed play on my PowerPoint Presentation… Oh my God - people could not stop laughing. I had people randomly chose a number between 1-17 to pick the order, and funnily enough I got 17th. Once I’d made it through everyone, I stopped and then everyone realised I hadn’t shown mine - if there was a laugh-o-meter mine would have broken it!
Later, at the Christmas Party, both bosses (including their wives) said it was the best Christmas present ever - with one boss telling me I was irreplaceable.
So thank you again, to you and Zalo for you fantastic efforts.
Will be in touch again soon for the birthday present we spoke about late last year.
Regards
Michael
