Announcing new caricature artist Keimo has joined the team!
Taking a classic Keimo approach, exhibits the true caricature style of exaggeration of notable features of a person’s face. Is it mean or horrid or just a wonderful freedom of artistic expression!
As you can see, Keimo works wonders, undertaking work in photoshop to paint his subjects in amazing rendering. Some may look just like photos, but no, all expertly digitally painted!
Keimo specializes in head and shoulders. See more

Many aspects of our daily lives are impacted by volunteers. They are pervasive and while they touch the lives of some in invisible ways, for others life would be inextricably harder without their help.
Look around: in hospitals, libraries, schools, organizations, on the streets, in churches, helping the old and the young and everyone in between – and yes even you and I in ways we may not even recognize and possibly on a daily basis.
Volunteer Week, celebrating the work of volunteers is being celebrated around the world very soon. Here are a few dates:
USA and Canada – 6-12 AprilAustralia -12-18 May
UK – 1-7 June
Why not recognize a volunteer you know by giving then a wonderful caricature that encompasses their actions and giving.
If you have not tried volunteering, give it a go, it is very rewarding
Our artists are ready to create a wonderful gift caricature. Click here to browse their samples and order online.

Have a business? A caricature makes a memorable business card, yellow pages and flier artwork and in this case Notch It Tiling’s Facebook page as well.

I was going to title this post “Why your Mother was Wrong when she Stopped you Pulling Faces in Family Photos”. Bit long, but I still have the same thing to say…a straight face is a bad and even worse, a Boring face.
A smile is better, but when it comes to the world of humorous art, pulling a funny face for your photo makes a great caricature. What we don’t want are passport or drivers licence style expressions. Keep those for your morgue photos.
Here is a recent example created by Harry, there the client’s staff rose to the occasion and were not only willing but eager to have their photos taken with wacky expressions!!
Sure as this was a caricature of the guys doing the haka meant they were more inclined to pull a face in front of the camera, but having some fun expressions really opens up the opportunity for something truly creative.
Next time you are wanting a fun caricature for a family caricature (oh WOW, couldn’t we have some fun!) retirement, birthday, anniversary, or even wedding invitation (no better time to pull a face) remember, have fun!!
