When it comes to gift giving, time can be our worst enemy. SUDDENLY the event for the gift giving has arrived and that perfect gift, well you want to give something unique, but how and from where is not yet thought about.
Of course we know that the perfect gift is a custom caricature from one of the talented artists at Caricature King.
But as some people discover, it is not always possible to get a caricature in 24-48 hours. Apart from existing workloads, it also takes time to create perfection.
So what to do…..?
An increasing number of people are finding the solution to last minute gift ideas is to give a Caricature Gift Certificate instead.
Easily delivered via email within 24 hours, all you have to do is print it out and hand it over!

The certificate can be for any amount that corresponds to caricature product prices, so if you want to give “2 full bodies in scene, then you can, and the recipient of the gift certificate can then choose which artist they like best!!

It is always great when customers send back photo of the person with the caricature. This is the result of a nice simple request or artist Rick:
The guy on the left as you look at the picture – full body with a surfing theme, but this one I would like with a blue print frame. The guy on the right (changed my mind again – definitely the last time) would like full body with a guitar theme. This is the one I require with the red print frame.
.
As it turns out once the image was done and a digital copy sent, there was some adjustment in the mat color (which is good, we often will suggest an alternative color if we feel the original selection may not be the best – once we see the colors used in the caricature). This job was for an Australian customer using our Australian framer.

This was a job drawn by artist Zalo for a fellow who works in a realtor office. He was after Kris Kringle gifts and decided on having caricatures of each of the staff drawn.
Here is his;

I have also put a few of the others into a bit of a montage.

Did he like the work? Even after a WOW email back before Christmas, he kindly took the time to send this email:
Hi Matt,
Happy New Year! I hope you enjoyed your holiday with the family and the Festive Season. Just wanted to let you know our Kris Kringle presents were absolutely fantastic! Everyone loved them.
I had to wrap 17 mugs and 17 A4 prints plus another full set for our company scrap book but it was worth it.
n the morning I made eggnog for everyone, played Kris Kringle (complete with Santa hat) for all the “usual” presents, then sat down and pressed play on my PowerPoint Presentation… Oh my God – people could not stop laughing. I had people randomly chose a number between 1-17 to pick the order, and funnily enough I got 17th. Once I’d made it through everyone, I stopped and then everyone realised I hadn’t shown mine – if there was a laugh-o-meter mine would have broken it!
Later, at the Christmas Party, both bosses (including their wives) said it was the best Christmas present ever – with one boss telling me I was irreplaceable.
So thank you again, to you and Zalo for you fantastic efforts.
Will be in touch again soon for the birthday present we spoke about late last year.
Regards
Michael
